About

Some people see the world.

I photograph it.

My name is Samantha Callicutt, and if I have a camera in my hands, I'm in my element.

I came up through journalism, spending years on the ground at political rallies and protests, documenting both sides of a divided country with care, curiosity, and no agenda. That work shaped the way I see. I learned early that the most powerful images aren't manufactured; they're discovered in the moments people don't realize they're giving you.

In my free time, I act. Signed with Jenny Stricklen Talent Agency, performing has only deepened my instincts behind the lens. I know what it takes to find something genuine in a scene, which means I know how to spot it when it surfaces in real life. A glance, a gesture, the charged silence before a crowd erupts. I know what's important on stage, and I bring that same awareness to everything I photograph.

Whether I'm on assignment or simply following my curiosity, I try to bring back images that feel honest and human. Pictures that linger.

If something here resonates with you, I'd love to connect. Whether you're looking for a photographer for your next event or simply want to say hello, my inbox is always open. I'd be honored to bring my lens to whatever you're building.
